Professional Information
Kate Lanoue is the External Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Keigwin School of Nursing. She completed her MSN degree at University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN in 2016 and is a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She received her BSN degree from Indiana University in 2006 and prior to that at BS in Communications and Public Relations. Her nursing experience has included emergency nursing with a CEN certification, neonatal intensive care nursing, and pediatric oncology. Additionally, she was also taught as adjunct faculty for an ASN program for several years. Kate continues her practice as an NNP at several NICUs within the community and has been with Pediatrix since moving to Florida in 2018.
As External Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Kate is responsible for coordinating and managing the clinical schedule for pre-licensure BSN students in the Traditional cohorts as well as the 16 month Accelerated cohorts at JU and making clinical site visits. As well, Kate also recruits, on-boards, schedules, and evaluates adjunct clinical faculty and is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with community sites utilized by 91成人导航 School of Nursing鈥檚 undergraduate program.
